Objective: The apoptotic impact of citalopram, an antidepressant, against liver hepatocellular carcinoma cell line HepG2 was investigated in relation to the oxidative pathway and nuclear factor (NF)κB activation. Method: The cytotoxic effects of citalopram on HepG2 cells were determined by MTT assay. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) formation and cytochrome c release were measured following treatment with citalopram. Apoptosis analysis and Bax and Bcl-­2 mRNA and protein levels were also determined. Dağ Yəhudilərinin qısa tarixi Azərbaycanda yaşayan ən böyük və ən qədim  yəhudi qrup Dağ yəhudiləridir. Dağ yəhudilərinin mənşəyinin onların nə zamandan bu torpaqlarda yaşaması haqqında tam fikir yoxdur. Müasir dövrdə dağ yəhudilərinin tarixi barədə müxtəlif fikirlər mövcuddur. Bir qisim alimlər dağ yəhudilərinin VII əsrdə yaranmış və Azərbaycan torpaqlarınıda əhatə edən  xəzərlərin əcacdları olduğunu deyirlər. Məlum olduğu kimi Xəzərlər yəhudi dinini qəbul etmiş türk tayfaları idilər. Lakin müasir alimlər bu fikrə qarşı çıxaraq dağ yəhudilərinin erazmızdan əvvəl Assur və Babil işğalı zamanı əsir götürülmüş yəhudilər olduğunu qeyd edirlər. Yəhudi dini kitablardında göstərilir ki, Samirə şəhərinin Assurlar tərəfində işğal olunması nəticəsində burda olan yəhudilər Assuriyanın Kalaxa ərazisində, Haburə, Qozan çayı sahillərində və Midiya dağlarında indiki Cənubi Azərbaycan ərazisində yerləşdirilir.
